Built for continuity

A steady view. Thoughtful automation.

Space City Stream Manager runs locally on the channel owner's stream computer. It monitors the encoder and YouTube and Twitch outputs, helps recover from software interruptions, and creates YouTube segments that aim to minimize replay gaps. Service outages and platform limits can still interrupt coverage or archives.

Why Google access is needed

The manager uses YouTube API Services to verify the owner's channel, inspect broadcast health, create livestream segments, update their titles and descriptions, bind them to the channel's stream, and start or end broadcasts.

Google authorization is for the channel owner's automation only. This application is not offered to the public, and viewers do not need to authorize it.

The authorized YouTube permission enables more operations than the manager uses. Its configured workflow is limited to the owner's livestream management; it does not request Gmail, contacts or payment access.

How information is handled

Authorization credentials are encrypted locally. Broadcast state, diagnostics and recovery backups support operation and maintenance. Optional owner-authorized OpenAI app monitoring processes limited health summaries outside the stream computer to help identify outages.

The manager does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Our policy explains local retention, backups, external monitoring and removal.
