Space City Stream Manager

Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

Overview

Space City Stream Manager is private, locally operated software used only by the owner of Space City Live Cam. It automates management of the owner's YouTube livestreams and is not offered as a service to the public.

Google user data we access

With the channel owner's authorization, the application uses the YouTube Data API to access and manage information associated with the Space City Live Cam YouTube channel. This can include channel identity, live broadcast details and status, live-stream resources, broadcast titles and descriptions, scheduling, privacy settings, stream bindings, and lifecycle transitions.

The application does not request access to passwords, payment information, email messages, contacts, or unrelated Google services.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to operate the Space City Live Cam livestream: checking broadcast health, preparing new livestream segments, binding broadcasts to the channel's ingest stream, transitioning broadcasts through their lifecycle, and recovering from software interruptions.

Storage and protection

OAuth authorization credentials are encrypted for the Windows user account and stored locally on the dedicated stream computer. Operational logs are also stored locally and may contain timestamps, broadcast identifiers, broadcast status, output status, and diagnostic errors. The application does not locally record or retain the livestream video.

Sharing, selling, and advertising

Space City Stream Manager does not sell Google user data. It does not share Google user data with third parties, use it for advertising, credit decisions, or surveillance, or allow humans to read it except when the owner reviews local diagnostic information for maintenance or security purposes.

Retention and deletion

Operational logs are automatically rotated and deleted under the manager's configured retention limits. Authorization credentials remain on the stream computer until replaced or removed by the owner. The owner can revoke the application's Google access at any time from the security settings of the connected Google Account; local credentials can then be deleted from the stream computer.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Space City Stream Manager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the application's data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
